When Frank and Flossie’s grandson, Steve Vincent attended BYU, he and some of his friends formed a band and named themselves, The Denver Brick and Pipe Band. Steve says, “although we don't play Bricks or Pipes, three of the five guys in the group are from Denver. We found this old sign of a company in Denver called The Denver Brick and Pipe Company and took it for the name of our group.”

 

The band was together for 4 or 5 years at BYU, but their friendship has lasted a lifetime. For the first 15 years after graduation, they had annual reunions until their kids got older and life got too busy.  They have stayed connected over the years and still get together occasionally.  During the Covid19 Pandemic in April 2021, they went into the recording studio individually to lay down the tracks for an arrangement of Can’t Help Falling In Love written by one of their band members.
