In 2019 I discovered that my 5th Great-Grandfather on my mother’s side,

John B. Boren Sr. (1726-1821) was married to Sarah Vining,

the daughter of Anna Nichols-Vining.

Anna had three aunts accused in the Salem Witch Trials (1692-1693). 

One of Anna’s aunts, Sarah Cloyce, was accused, but never indicted.

Two of Anna’s other aunts, Rebecca Nurse and Mary Easty, were hung as witches.
