The Lost Wallet

By Frank Edward Vincent

One year after harvesting the potato crop on their farm in Grantsdale, Montana, Frank Seymour Vincent lost his wallet that contained all of the money from their harvest. The crop was sent to the train yard and was loaded onto the railroad cars when he discovered his dilemma. He searched and searched at the farmhouse and out in the fields. He finally went down to the train yard where he found his wallet on one of the train cars with their potatoes. All of the cash was still in the wallet.

As told to Sallie Boden by her father, Frank Edward Vincent
